Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

I understand that life happens and sometimes appointments need to be changed. As a small practice with a limited number of consultation appointments available each week, adequate notice allows me to offer your appointment to another client who may be waiting.
By booking an appointment, you agree to the following cancellation and rescheduling policy.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full consultation fee.
Where your consultation has been prepaid, the payment will be retained and applied as the cancellation fee.
Where the consultation has not been prepaid, the full consultation fee will become payable.
No-Shows
If you do not attend your scheduled appointment and have not provided notice, the full consultation fee will apply.
This includes both in-clinic and Telehealth appointments.
Running Late
If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible.
Your consultation will still finish at the originally scheduled time so that subsequent clients are not impacted.
For example, if you arrive 15 minutes late for a 45-minute consultation, the remaining 30 minutes will be available for your consultation.
The full consultation fee will still apply.
Depending on how late you arrive, there may not be sufficient time to safely or appropriately complete the consultation. Where this occurs, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the consultation fee may still apply.
North Beach Appointments
All consultations at Infinite Health Studio, North Beach require payment in advance to secure the appointment.
Your appointment is not considered confirmed until the required payment has been received.
If you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice, your payment can be transferred to your rescheduled appointment.
Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours will result in the prepaid consultation fee being retained in accordance with this policy.
Hills Clinic Appointments
Initial consultations at Hills Natural Health Centre require a deposit to secure the appointment.
Follow-up consultations do not currently require prepayment.
Where an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice, or the client does not attend, the full consultation fee remains payable.
Any deposit already paid will be applied toward the cancellation fee.
Illness & Unexpected Circumstances
I understand that genuine illness, emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur.
If something genuinely unavoidable happens, please contact me as soon as possible. Exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis at my discretion.
This does not guarantee that a cancellation fee will be waived.
If I Need to Cancel Your Appointment
On the rare occasion that I need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I will provide as much notice as reasonably possible.
Any prepaid consultation fee will be transferred to your rescheduled appointment or refunded if an alternative appointment cannot be arranged or you prefer not to reschedule.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded.
